Who is responsible
EON Risk Services Ltd, Wexford, Ireland, is the controller. Contact: rory@eonriskservices.com.
What is collected, and why
When you download the book: your email address, and your name if you give it. They are used to give you the download links and to email you a copy. Your IP address and a security check token are used to stop automated abuse of the form. If you tick the box for updates, your email address is also used to tell you about new editions of the book and the register.
When you send a message: your name, email address, organisation if you give it, and your message, used to reply to you. Your IP address is used to stop abuse.
When you visit: page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. This site sets no cookies of its own.
Legal basis
Sending the files and replying to messages are steps you ask for. Protecting the forms from abuse is a legitimate interest. Update emails are sent only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by replying with the word unsubscribe.
Who else processes it
Vercel hosts the site and counts visits. Resend delivers the emails. Cloudflare Turnstile runs the security check on the forms. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards in their data processing terms. Your data is not sold or shared with anyone else.
How long it is kept
Download requests and messages are kept as emails for as long as they are needed to answer you or to send the updates you asked for, and are deleted when you ask.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw consent, by writing to rory@eonriskservices.com. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
